Established in 1986, the 15,000 square-foot Classic Collision Center is a locally owned family collision repair business. Joining me—John Burdolski—are my sons, Dusty and Odie. Our passion is making wrecked cars look and drive show-room new. You could say the collision repair business runs in our family’s blood. In the 1960s my late father, Frank Burdolski, founded Burdolski Auto Werks and served the Muncie, Kansas area since 1986. I do business like my dad did. If a customer has a need, we work something out ahead of time. For example, I once drove a customer’s car to my home so he could meet me there after hours and pick it up.

Classic Collision Center also provides little extras for our customers. As a working manager, I ensure all cars are cleaned and polished after the repair work is done. There’s just something nice about picking up a clean car after it’s been repaired or serviced.

My sons and I are also committed to staying on top of the latest in training and materials. For example my brother, Jim, is a sales representative for Saint Gobain. Through him, I keep tabs on Nortpon abrasives and adhesives. We also have a long tradition of using top-rated products such as Spies Hecker paint and Axalta Coating Systems to increase durability and add beauty to a car’s finish.

Our technicians are some of the area’s best. Because we pay a salary instead of a flat-rate, we attract high-quality workers. Once they’re here, they tend to stay thereby maintaining a consistent quality in all of the body work we do.

We also keep our customers updated on where their car is in the repair process—no one likes to sit around wondering when they will get a phone call or text saying the car is ready. Through a website and mobile app from CCC ONE®, Carwise™, customers receive regular updates and photos of the work in progress.

Having just celebrated our 30th anniversary in 2016, Classic Collision Center looks forward 30+ more years. Dusty and Odie are actively learning and managing aspects of the business today and their commitment to quality repairs and high customer satisfaction follows in the steps of their grandfather and me. I know current and future customers are—and will be—in good hands.
